How Slideboard compares.
Pitch, Gamma and Canva are excellent editors. Slideboard is the one your AI agent drives end-to-end — authoring every slide, locking your brand, rendering web-native design, and publishing a gated page it can keep editing — all without leaving Claude Code or Codex.

Several tools can now generate a deck from your agent. Only Slideboard lets your agent keep editing it — every slide, on-brand, web-native — then publish a gated link.
- Pitch lists a public API and MCP server as coming soon (announced May 2026) — not available today.
- Canva’s official MCP / Connect API requires a Canva Enterprise plan to autofill a branded deck, and exposes no API to mint a public share link.
- Gamma and Canva let an agent generate and export a deck; editing existing slides happens in their web app.
- Canva brand enforcement (locks and approvals) requires a Teams, Business or Enterprise plan.
- Password protection is available on Gamma (Pro and up); no built-in email-capture lead gate is documented.
- Canva password protection covers Websites and PDF downloads, not the standard presentation link.
- On paid tiers (PPTX export on Pitch is a paid feature).
- Canva reports aggregate visits and per-page time, not per-named-viewer identity.
Four edges the table can’t fully show.
Your agent doesn’t stop at “generate.”
Gamma and Canva can spin up a deck from your agent — then hand you back to their editor. Slideboard’s MCP is the whole surface: your agent edits any slide by sentence, and every change is checked against the slide schema and your brand guardrails before it commits.
update_slidediff_revisionsA deck can be as rich as the web.
Template-based products are bounded by the components their editors expose. Slideboard renders real web pages: rich layout, motion, video and responsive reading modes, with a locked Frame that keeps the result precise enough to export pixel-perfect.
body.htmlframeexport_pdfOn-brand by lock, not by luck.
Point your agent at your site; it derives your palette, type and logo and locks them into a workspace Brand Kit. Other tools share a kit you can still override — or gate the real locks behind an Enterprise plan. Slideboard enforces yours on every edit.
set_brand_kitA link that reports back.
Publish one gated link — email and password — instead of an attachment. Per-slide dwell and per-investor timelines land in your dashboard automatically, so you know which story held the room before the meeting.

You want a hands-on editor
If you’d rather drag, drop and co-edit a deck live with your team, Pitch, Gamma and Canva are built for that. Slideboard has no canvas to open — the agent does the work.
You need an editable .pptx
Every other tool here exports PowerPoint you can keep editing. Slideboard exports pixel-perfect PDF only — by design, the deck stays canonical on Slideboard.
You want a free tier today
Gamma and Canva have free plans you can start right now. Slideboard is invite-only while we onboard founders workspace by workspace.
The honest questions.
Is Slideboard a Pitch or Gamma replacement?
Gamma and Canva have MCP servers too — what's different?
Can Slideboard export to PowerPoint?
Can my team edit a deck together in real time?
Do these comparisons stay current?
See it run in your agent.
Add the Slideboard MCP to Claude Code or Codex and ask for your first deck. We’re onboarding founders workspace by workspace.
